Hi guys. I'm hoping that someone would give me some ... advice? Or anything to help me out.

I just enrolled in CIT-U. I'm a freshman in Architecture. Okay, I'll go straight to the point: I don't like the school that I'm in. The main reason would be because it wasn't my choice. My parents... well, they kinda forced me to just enroll in CIT-U because it's the nearest school from where my hometown is: Minglanilla.

I meant no offense to CIT-U but I can't change my opinion. CIT-U is a great university but I'm just really not satisfied. And I feel depressed most of the times which really affects my studies. I don't even want to study.

I had a talk with my mom about this and she said that if I still continue to be like this until the end of the sem, she will let me transfer. I really hope that'll happen.

So guys, mga kuya, ate: give me some advice on what to do? Please?

try lang ask imo parents du.. bcn di makaya sa budget sa imo parents kung sa USC ka kay mas mahal bya didto.. nya sa cit kay barato ra man.. bcn ganahan pd kag mahalon nya di jud kaya sa imo parents.. aya nlng pag inarte ui, be thankfull nga naka eskwela ka.. basin pa sosyal pd kaau ka.. be happy nlng kay at least mk save imo parents ug moni kung cit ka..

It's good that you're honest enough to tell your parents... & at least naminaw sad sila... Pero try to give your parents wisdom a chance... Basin being at CIT-U as for the moment kay maoy practical nila or kaya sa budget... I'm not saying your family cannot afford other schools, pero you also have to consider naa sad other expenses nga gi-atubang imu parents that you do not know...

Estudyante pud ko sauna, diha na ko ka realize dili diay lalim pagpeskwela sa atoa sa nagpaeskwela na pud ko sa ako anak. Sayon ra kaayo ipangayo ug allowance, gamit sa school, projects ug uban pa... kita gani mismo wala ta kabalo unsa paghago nila ug pag-budget sa income para lang sa ato needs. All we know for sure is that they should have the money para pang-gastos nato! Been there...

And may I ask pud unta, why dili man ka ganahan sa CIT-U? Ubos ra ila standard para nimu? Ang pag-eskwela depende ra na sa estudyante...

Naa koy kaila sauna, went to one of the best university in cebu, husto sa allowance, sobra2x pa, ang mga gamit sa school kumpleto, mga sanina ug sapatos branded... asa man ron? wa katiwas kay na lolong sa drugas!

My sister in-law graduated in CIT... and is now working sa Central Bank of Singapore...

Ang eskwelahan igo ra na mu tabang ug mold nato... everything depends on the student if willing ba pud siya to DO his part.

I would say ayaw pa apektar, just study and pass your subjects! Be practical & think long term. If padala ka, ikaw ra alkanse!

Time is just too precious to be wasted by just that...

CIT is a good school man esp. sa imong choice of course...pwo if d jud ka gnahan lisod pud na...unsaon manang nice na school ug d ganahan moskuyla ang student...

Naa man gani koy classmate ga puyo gu Carcar katong ga skwela pako sa usctc. Mas ganahan pa siya mu uli ngadto kaysa sa iyang boarding house kay naa man iya mama tig luto. XD

Better think of it sah and enjoy lang your time there, wa ta kahibaw naay lain reasons imong parents maybe they are also considering the tuition fees, since layu ra jud ang difference sa duha, and ang time and kalayu sa imong travel, kay ang first year sa architecture kung full load tig dugay jud raba na mu uli, ug kung mag himo mo ug plate in higher years tig dugay sad mu uli na mas maayu nalang mag overnight nalang ug 1 week XD.
It would be better if you talk with your parents regarding that matter, pero there's nothing wrong with distance really, daghan na kaayu ga skwela ngadto mas layu pa nimo. mga taga cotabato ug zamboanga.
But I agree sa imong pag duha2x between the two schools, maski unsaon nila pag ingon nga wala na sa skul.. makita jud raba ang resulta nig work na... although makat-on man gihapon ka ngadto pero mugawas jud ang traning nga nakuha nimo gikan sa skul.

Ma apektuhan ang imo pagtuon ana bro kung di ka ganahan sa school. Mao nga agwantaha lang usa na sa CIT then neg end sa sem balhen lang kung asa jud ka gnahan. Anyway di man na basehan para nako kung asa ka nagskwela para nindot imong future, naa rman jud na nimo, sa pag paningkamot ug tuon...

Also naa may mga universities and colleges nga naa ras downtown. Di man kinahanglan nga adto jud sa usc talamban. But if didto imo ganahan, then go. it's your choice. Good Luck!

asa imo ganahan bai, sa USC-CAFA? kung mao man gani nindot man sd daw didto..

pero daghan gkan USC bai labi na sa mga nahagbong nga mo balhin sa CIT..
paninguhaa lang gyud dili ka ma hagbong kung USC man gani imo choice.. kay basin mahibalik ra unya kas CIT.. hehehehehe
