Changing the appearance will not affect the value of our Peso. SioDenz is right, one of the purpose na gi elisan ang physical appearance sa atong mga kwarta aron dili dali ma counterfeit.

Obviously it doesn’t strengthen the value. But the new Peso bills do appear more modern in terms of design and perhaps with the new security features, they’re probably better compared to the old ones. But before BSP release for printing they should check it first. Now it looks funny, errors appears on the bill. Hmmmm….
The nicer the bill we have the purchasing power of the philippine peso has become so weak now that even a one thousand peso bill cant buy a lot of food to eat.

I think the advantages of Printing New peso bill outweighs the Disadvantages such as the Cost. The "Value" factor doesn't even count as advantage or disadvantage because its Not related with the issue.

Plastic naba atung new money? or same old papel?
