so... maayo man gyud diay ning viewsonic...
pero although i know na mas less gyud ang consumption sa lcd.. kung games gani mas nindot ug display ang CRT

comparing flat and non-flat screen crt monitors on same size (ex. 17"), mas taas power consumption ang flat screen kay kinahanglan man higher voltage/power ang tube.

don't differentiate flat screen and semu-flat screen monitors with regards to power consumption... the difference is just negligeble.

if you want true power saver, use LCD screens. they truly save power though much more expensive than the conventional CRT's.... about 3 to 5 times in cost...
benefits other than power: space saver and EYE saver.... dili makadaut sa mata ang LCD coz it has no radiation that can cause eye damage....

If hours nga naka turn on, ok ra para nako ang 50,000.00 hours coz ako gi compute:
If I use it 24hours a day, it will last for about 5.7yrs
If I use it 12hours a day, it will last for about 11.4yrs
If I use it 6hours a day, it will last for about 22.8yrs (i use my pc about 6hrs a day)

    Tama ba ako?
mao ba bro? sure jud ni?
mas maayo pa diay ang dili lcd kay long life pa..
buhi pa ako monitor, 6yrs na bro.. still strong..

tandugunun ang crt coz it has ha picture tube. if cge balhin2, posible nga dunay misalignment sa sulod mahitabo. ang lcd pwede ra balhin2 basta bantayan lang pud ang screen kay dili man glass, mura man plastic ang material. lightweight pud ang lcd.

lcd is the best choice if you can afford to buy one....
