dootmars, thanks. I'll try if maka lugar. But as what EarlZ said, wala pa headphones. ^_^
From what I've been reading, the Xonar is inferior to the Auzen X-Fi in terms of positioning in gaming using stereo headphones. While the Xonar is getting rave reviews for its music playback sound quality, the Auzen X-Fi isn't that far behind. Now I guess I'll have to figure out whether I will mainly be a gamer or an audiophile... at this point, I'm neither. lol
i have an Auzentech X-Fi Prelude 7.1(retired/still w/ me) & a Xonar D2X before(sold na)....did have Creative XtremeMusic & XtremeAudio also, not good...now a happy & satisfied Essence STX user...cleanest stereo sound i ever heard from a soundcard...more on music ko...the Auzens are also very good...if you want an all-around soundcard go for the Auzen X-Fi...
needless reminder for us all: a GOOD SOUND starts w/ CLEAN ears...(from master emoners if my memory serves me right)

I guess I'll be getting an Asus Xonar Essence ST (PCI version). ^_^
Xonar Essense ST is in Manila now. Hopefully I can install it by next week. Can't wait to try it out. ^_^
basta headphones bro, recommend ko Xonar ST.
Note: ST>STX
drawback lang sa ST is that it uses the old PCI interface.
use analog to get the get the benefit of the soundcard (RCA)
