Jordan's early years as a player was exactly like LeBron's . Unlike LeBron's luxury back as a Cavs players , Jordan didn't have a position to be involved with players acquisition . In 1987 draft , Jordan wanted to get Joe Wolf , but Bulls GM Jerry Krauss drafted Scottie Pippen . I see what Scottie was trying to say . In 1984 draft , Krauss never wanted to draft Jordan cuz they "didn't didn’t know how good Michael was going to be - nobody knew. He improved year by year." In contrary , comparing him to LeBron , everyone knew he will be a GREAT player . Looks like Scottie is trying to say that he might surpass Michael Jordan because probably in his eyes LeBron is already playing like Jordan .

Right now , James is in his 8th season playing in the NBA averaging 26.7 PPG , 7.5 RPG , 7.0 APG , 1.6 SPG , 0.6 BPG , 3.6 TOV and 15.6 WS (Win Shares) . Michael Jordan during his 8th season , he led his team to win 2nd straight NBA Finals with a season average of 30.1 PPG , 6.4 RPG , 6.1 APG , 2.3 SPG , 0.9 BPG , 2.5 TOV and 17.7 WS .

It's safe to say that LeBron may be a great ALL AROUND PLAYER than MJ . He's a perfect basketball player , same thing to say that Michael Phelps is a perfect swimmer , and Usain Bolt is a perfect runner . LeBron has a great skillset and a good body for an NBA player . He's good at passing , rebounding , scoring , posting up , great on fast breaks , great in the halfcourt , great courtvision , great basketball IQ , faster than some PGs , stronger than some big men , can create for himself , can iso , can shoot foul shots , can be creative , has take over ability , huge hands , great dunker , and ALOT more .

I'm not saying that Jordan didn't do those stuffs . But LeBron is better than Jordan if comparing who's the best ALL AROUND PLAYER .

MJ is one of the great player to play basketball, so as James. Their are many great players played and presently playing the sport. We can't compare this two players because they are at different era.

As they say, LeBron has it all but no rings...

Jordan worked with what he had, and he became a legend...

Yes, LeBron is the better all around player...but Jordan is the greatest winner!

You can be called the greatest all around player but it won't mean that you were best in winning games and championships.

Pippen had his own opinion, but the media just overhyped it (as expected, some controversy will be useful so thay can gain higher views for the NBA finals).

Lebron does not have Jordan's ability to inspire people. He does not have Jordan's charisma and leadership.

He cannot defend like Jordan. Cannot score like him. Nor can he lay claim to having won a championship against the best of his era. Jordan won championships when the likes of Malone, Stockton, Magic, Thomas, O'Neal, Ewing, Barkley, Olajuwon, etc were healthy and in their prime.

Lebron had his chance against the best of his time but came up short. Against Duncan, fail. In a time when the aging Shaq won a championship in Miami, Lebron failed. When Kobe led a team to the Finals, Lebron did what? Fail. The best of his time are head and shoulders above him. And though he may win a championship this season, he did it the cheapest way possible.
