@TS: as i said before your last resort would be reformatting the pc. but if you have lots of important files, better back it up 1st.

@adonisko, I've been reading your article and it sounds like none of them were solve your problem? either way, they gave the best shot to your suliran naman.

ok here's the deal. akong balikon ilang procedure (I think sakto to sila pero basin naa lang kay na missed out),

    HARDWARE TROUBLESHOOTING:

    • a) HDD
      • ii) tarunga pag-latag sa Silicon Paste arun mag-meet-up ang duha ka agtang, the processor & the heatsink.
      • iii) Remember to mount & lock properly the heatsink over the motherboard.

    SOFTWARE TROUBLESHOOTING:
    1) arun walay hasol, Reformat! deretcho. (period) (because, I believe na hardware related na nga issue, since ni kalit ra man kaha ingon ka!) ug wala nay labot ang software side ani. Correct?

PS: Let me know kung naa gihapon issue, thanks!

    Proc: Core2Duo
    Mobo: ASUS P5KPL-AM SE
    RAM: Corsair 2GB DDR2
    VC: 9600GT
    HDD: 320g SATA Seagate

OS: Windows XP pro VL (licensed)

Problem: hangs up during windows logo boot up

    Tried:

Removed: Video card / running on onboard (hangs up on same spot)
Reset: BIOS (jumper reset) compared bios setup with running pc, bios default, identical settings with working pc
Replace: Memory from working PCs (hangs up on same spot) replace it with 3 working pc memory; original memory works on other pc
Replace: HDD from a working PC with same specs (hangs up on same spot) original hardisk works on the other pc
    Replace: SATA cable
Replace: IDE HDD (tried reformatting, still hangs up on windows loading setup)
Replace: PSU with a working PC (hangs up on same spot)
Replace: CMOS Battery from a working PC (hangs up on same spot)
Replace: Technician (already asked someone else to look at, said: rare problem) probably mobo or with processor (also replaced thermal paste of proc)
Reformat: tried reformat with Windows XP pro VL (licensed); windows 7 Pro VL (licensed); Windows 7 Ultimate (non licensed) Hangs up on windows logo loading

Processor temperature is normal on hardware monitor
PSU reading is normal on PSU reader

RARE problem; probably with mobo or processor, maybe you guys have been into this kind of problem. Hope someone has already figured this one out. Thanks

Does not auto restart, just freezes on windows loading screen. No error on POST, no BSOD.
