Its the safest way when your trying to get into overclocking.. try what you can get with stock voltages only... if you feel a bit brave.. try 1-2 notches above the stock voltage.
This is not 100% sure but since AMD has moved the memory controller and everything else inside the CPU package with the PhenomII X4/X6, Id say dli jud ana ka dako ang influence sa board but I could be wrong I havent been updated with AMD's hypertransport stuff if thats board/OC dependent.
On intels side a good majority of the results relies on how lucky you are with the CPU you got.

AXIS: try using the AMD Overdrive utilities. mo support na man sila 8xx chipsets karn, mao na ako use, naka taman ra ko 3.4ghz. mas safe man kay naa auto clock na option. nya if d ka nahan, ma reset ra nimo to stocks without going to bios.

You can determine your motherboards overclock limit by upping your fsb and lowering down your multi while still maintaining the processors stock clock speed.

e.g processor at 2ghz, 200mhz FSB, x10 multi,

to determine your mobo's oc limit A.K.A FSB wall you can try

211 x 9.5 = 2.004ghz
223 x 9 = 2.007ghz

and so on hangtud makuha nimo asa taman mapataas ang imo FSB, do a stress test after each increment/decrement

Hit on the wall to early then you can blame the board, if not, i balik sa stock ang multi 1 increment at a time and then with the proper mix of voltage you could attain a high oc

I think imageshack still has the thumbnail view where we get 640x480 thumbnails but bigger images when we click the pictures, maybe we could use those instead?

atay....ayaw sad ng boss bai earl..ahahaha....

pwde ra bai as long as dli mulampas 640 pixels either side..
