IMO, the best and pinakaauthentic Japanese Restaurant here in Cebu are:

    1. Yumeiya-Kihei loc. at F. Cabahug beside Wakamatsu Yakiniku (lami pud kaayo ni na Yakiniku Restaurant and the best part is that eat all you can siya(order all you can) 'til you get full nagyud hehe

    2. Ofuku-san loc. at Gaisano Country Mall.

    3. Chibori loc. at IT Park

1, 2, and 3 same lang sila kay same owner ra man na sila. Owned by Mr. Bong Suda, he used to be the head chef sa *Kukai Japanese Restaurant sauna but he left na and decided to open his own restaurant instead. His first restaurant that he opened was Ofukusan I think, then next opened Yumeiya-Kihei, then Chibori. Chibori more or less same same lang but I think a little bit more expensive than Ofukusan and Yumeiya. Lami kayo ning mga food na naa sa 3 restaurants.

    4. Izakaya Goku loc. Banilad Town Center (BTC). Their location before was at Banilad, Road going to Ma. Luisa at the side (dunno the name of the place though)

    5. Nonki loc. AS Fortuna St., naa sad other branch but Little Nonki na tawag, like sa sm, lapu-lapu, and I think Mabolo pud dapita. pero ang Little Nonki mas dili kaayo daghan mapilian siguro compared sa Main na Nonki gyud dito sa AS Fortuna St.

*There is still Kukai Japanese Restaurant though but don't know if they still call it Kukai Japanese Restaurant or changed its name to Kaishu Japanese Restaurant if dili ni siya branch or other restaurant na giopen sa owner sa Kukai and if it's still located at the same place/address (Road na on the way near Cebu Plaza Hotel(now Marco Polo Hotel). Pero there's a Japanese restaurant sa Mactan/Lapu-Lapu man siguro to, ang name kay Kaishu Japanese Restaurant and under the name/sign kay "Kukai Japanese Restaurant" or "By Kukai Japanese Restaurant". Well whatever and whichever it is, nakatry pud ko sa Kukai Japanese Restaurant sauna, kato location nila kato naa pa sa road on the way to Cebu Plaza Hotel sauna(now Marco Polo Hotel) and lami pud kayo didto.

    For Best Authentic Japanese Ramen

    1. Kamekichi Ramen loc. Panagdait. Near Lumpia House and beside a water refilling station and a pizza place.

    2. 168 Ramen (ok ok ra but not much, so so so so ra gyud) loc. Crossroads Banilad beside Tajimaya Restaurant (more on Yakiniku) (same owner)(lami sad and naa daghan mapilian pero mahal mahal lang gyud)

    3. Rai Rai Ken Ramen loc. Ayala, SM, Mactan/Lapu-Lapu, and many more branches, even in Manila

Well, that's just about it for now
