Watercooling does not offer silence, it offers cooling performance at the expense of noise.

wonder what kind of water cooling you're using, i cant even hear the d5 running on mine all i can hear is the purr from the 2 120 yate loons @800rpm. if i turn off the fans, not silent but pretty quiet.

6x Gentle Typhoon at 1,200 RPM. If we reduce the fan speed to a subjective level with the same noise profile on the D14 or the silver arrow, the watercooling only cools 4-6c better.. which is still big. But if we full blast at 1200RPM which is slightly noisier than the D14 we get 15-20c better.

I forgot I should have made my explanation more clear.

@ 100% fan speed i call it noisy gyud kaayu kusug...saba gyud kaayu compare sa 120mm fans @ 1800 rpm...

it doesnt mean that if your gonna use watercooling on your system it will bring the fan noise down to lvl 0 remember you still need fans on those rads to keep it cool..

my system has 4 120mm and 3 140mm fans running on full speed when im playing heavy games..
