    mao sad cguro ang government na ingon.ani sa kay tungod sad cguro sa mga taw nga pirme mo blame nila. wlay cooperation ba. gusto sa mga taw kay INSTANT asenso. I agree high cost of living sa manila. pro dpat sad jud mag wage increase dri sa atoa bsan dli pareha sa manila ok na bsta dugangan lng gmay gud. pra nko ok na mn lng ang sweldo at least above minimum akoa but how about katong mga Hardworker nga mga minimum wage earners nga wla mga abilidad ug katong mga below minimum wage luoy pud baya.

    @aaron101 I understand that you're concerned with the low wages of laborers, but I believe that increasing the minimum wage is not the answer.

    Instead of forcing companies to pay their workers higher salary, why not create more opportunities for businesses to invest in the Philippines instead? More business == more jobs.

    Right now, our problem lies in the oversupply of labor. High supply in labor + low demand for jobs = low salary. If you reverse the equation, you'll see that we can increase salaries instead. Low supply in labor + high demand for jobs = high salary. Natural maningkamot ang mga business nga mag offer ug taas nga sweldo para maka-attract ug skilled workers. If you look at Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, and other countries, you'll be surprised that there is no minimum wage. In fact, they're even importing labor from other countries such as the Philippines. Yet, don't you wonder why they're so successful?

    We should abolish the minimum wage law. The government should stay out of intervening the economy. Globalization for the win! =)

    very well said, I agree. so dpat mag focus sa sila sa pag padaghan ug trabaho sa mga pinoy kay mao na ang main problem jud nato. dghan kaau mga jobless karong panahona.

    ang mga taga visayas ug mindanao d man gud magka hiusa.. not like manila ug mag rally sila walay kan.anay.. kita dri tag pila ra ka oras mag rally2x kunuhay .. pag human wala ra d i.. lami unta e apil kaso d man gihapon ta dunggon gud.. utro sad corrupt ang ato mga politiko..

    Yeah agree with this thread. I think it's about time that the government should consider the economy of cebu. Our minimum wage should be aligned with NCR.
