supplying fluctuating voltage to the HDD? Im not an expert pero I've read somewhere in the comp hardware section nga mao sad daw ni cause for premature hdd failure.

correct jud ka boss kay ako pirmi ko nakasugat ani secreto ra kaayo ang psu manguba ug mga parts sa atong pc.

Cause nga na encounter nako:
1 Basin ga overload ang voltage sa imo PSU. Try to test it wit the PSU tester katong digital nga makita ang mga voltage mo beep pa jud if something wrong with the PSU.

2 Maybe you're using HDD Enclosure: Sa ako nabantayan lifespan sa inyo hd dili jud magdugay labi na mga generic brand para nako tagam nako ani.

That's why im using branded PSU for my personal use kay sayang kaayo kung magub-an ta ug mga unit.

Even brand new HDD gani naa man sad problema during pag gamit. samot na ug used. it happens to me nga 1 month ra ang HDD nako nag error nig boot SMART bad na so akong gi claim ang warranty... kana kay nag sabot naman mo nga 1 week so wala na jud labot ang seller. a lot of people here in istorya maka help sa disk kong gusto ka e recover nimo ang files..

i had my seagate hdd for 4 years from now and still working.
i just want an extra working hdd for my work...thats it.

if the item as stated was given by a friend and you have only
used it for a week, then how can u say that it has no defects.

Naka sugat nako ani.. pero sa ako situation is ang HDD kay mao ako primary and OS installation was interrupted due to power source (ng brownout).. Nabantayan nako next thing pg boot sa pc, dili na sya mo lahos kay mo kaging na.. What I did was gitaod nako sa pikas pc and have it formatted. Balik nako taod sa pc and good thing nibalik ra sa normal..

Ang usa pd ka hd nako, na ingon ani sad.. mo crack, bad thing is deads na jd.
