its not about the coffee, its about the foil wrapped around the cable.. a EE friend introduced this to me but i have not done it yet.

this is how i understand it..
the foil acts like a ferrite choke/bead (see Ferrite bead), there is a possibility that the noise from the AC line will be reflected back as energy to the cable thus somehow saving electricity.

Ive heard of this many times already, but I did not take it seriously. Since its all about proper insulation, then it doesn't limit to that certain coffee mentioned?
Maybe we can also use any foil? how about aluminum foil ang e potos sa electric wire then wrap it again w/ electrical tape,will that help too? kay kon apil ang coffee,kotkoton hinuon sa mga pest. Please give more inputs para maka save ta sa electricity, mahal na raba karon.
