anyways, again, whats on paper isnt always what is...
CMOS usage has come to a point where technology has caught up to produce better quality images.
bitaw, im making my comparison on actual devices.
shall we say, a more practical way of looking at it![]()

.....yeah same goes to all bibles produced; boy if you will just do research......http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/question362.htmOriginally Posted by markyap
hmmm, name a handheld digital camera with CCD...the very best one in the market today...that you think will produce better photos than the very best CMOS cameras like 1Ds markII or the D2X.
boy goodluck finding one...hehehe
bitaw, given that on paper both have pros and cons...but the final product or device can be made to take advantage of new techniques and develope ways to enhance its short comings as a raw material/technology to come up with an even more superior device
no doubt that ccd technology alone in its basic has its pros that on paper says it produces better pictures in many aspects compared to the basic cmos technology.
but with technology and development put in behind the cmos devices that are made with superior quality, it can also produce better pictures than the ccd with crude developed devices.

.....d100, pero this was introduced in 2002, because every year manufacturers need to introduce new camera devices with more meg pixels it hard to mass produce d100 components, that is why they use the cmos technology.......adding more techniques enhancements to match or surpass ccds.....
and enough of this na sensors are not the primary drain or issues on modern digital cameras......take note gi hype ra ni sa mga camera phone manufacturers...
peace y'all!
14949 is right CCD is better than CMOS.![]()
its not the megapixel that counts........ its the potential of the technology....
as seen with the latest cameras, larger megapixel or otherwise, cmos has made considerable development and advancment to show off its potential to surpass ccd
its not just megapixel that matters yes, its the final image quality.
both technology has pros and cons. one is better than the other back and forth. bottom line, there is no clear cut answer to which one is better. its all in the backing of the technology/development in the engenering of the final product na siya magdaog.
D100 vs 1Ds MarkII image quality lang sturyahan nato...nindot gyud ang 1Ds MarkII. nothing follows.
