    FRP ON FRONT BUMPERS:

well about sa frp, i dont find any valid and concrete reason to disallow frp on front bumpers as a reinforcement. tamiya made the kit w/ no-glue assembly, basically it is a snap-on and screw assembly. noticed the front bumpers has screw holes and it is "STRATEGICALLY" placed so dat when u put a reinforcement upgrade such as frp, it would make da structure virtually unbreakable on normal operating conditions sa race (by japanese designers and engineers = proven and tested engineering).

    here's my take:

    1. would frp increase top speed?
    -no
    2. would frp increase acceleration?
    -no
    3. would frp increase cornering stability?
-yes kinda, kai dli man ma bawg imung front bumper gmay kn mu enter ang sakyanan sa corner sa hispd
    4. would frp increases weight?
-yep, but very small amount and its negligible. it weighs more or less dan the same amount of epoxy bombardment sa front bumper.
    5. would it reinforce?
    - hell yeah! epic, top-notch rigidity!

frp is proven and tested reinforcement for meny years sa mini4wd. compared to glue/epoxy reinforcement, prefer dyud ko sa frp, mas limpyo, mas lig on, no mess application, nya mag dugay pa imung chassis. kn wide ra ang frp, pde rman sa putlan prior for the same width sa front bumper.

so why disallow FRP as "REINFORCEMENT"?? pls share us your science behind your reason.

even tamiya yuku can't give a concrete reason why they disallow frp as "reinforcement". LOL
probably they wanna make da chassis "disposable", kn maguba na, labay nlang then palit bag o. =)

im not really opposed to the frp thing. coz i myself want my cars to live longer :3

    but heres what will happen,
allowing frps would open doors to a lot of possibilities, it would lead to the question of side extensions, double frps (lol bug.ata najud sa front, mu dive na.), then what about rear reinforcing plates? non tamiya frps, or handmade ones. place reinforcing plates on wings, lol grabeha najud ana i could stack a LOT of FRPS and make my car too heavy, i cud load it with a more powerful motor and it would still become stable. @_@

mas daghan na kaaug pangutana ana every before race, mag labad na ang ulo sa mga marshalls @_@ malangay ang race, wehh mag away nya nuon

maybe putting a max on frps allowable - kani nuon nahan ko

but in the end, frps or no frps, im only glad the hobby came back and i could race for fun.

I agree with chris.

mao mao pud master hehe, mawala or naa k rman hehe, ang ato lang kai dli tnan ka afford mka ilis daun ug chassis haha, if dey allow epoxy as reinforcement with certain limitations why not allow frp reinforcment with limitations also to front bumpers with same dimension sa front bumper also hehe.
so inig tren2x puhon dli na mangahadlok ug buhi sa ilang tamiya kai lig on nman hahaha.

in regards about frp... ok man unta kung tugdan ni cya butangan lang jud limitation parehas sa geh ingon ni merman ang naka pait lang...sa mga race nga akong geh apilan wala jud thorough inspection sa mga minis about sa restrictions...so allowing frp, kahibaw namo unsa sunod ani

bahin sa roller size sa atubangan, IMO dapat mag agad ka sa track ug dagan sa imong auto...kung pag testing nimo kay kusog imong auto its better to use a smaller diamater roller as this would make your car stick more on the wall causing more drag and in result causing the car to run "a bit" slow and make it more stable...if you think your car is running "a bit" slow, you can opt for a bigger diameter fore roller to add more speed, just put in mind that your car has a bigger tendency of landing outside the track...

good luck sa tanan racers kita kits unya sa guada wakekeke
