Finally got my new accent. Though I got the 1.4GL Matic..

Here are my driving impressions:

- Superb Suspension Settings (tried running it on a rough road, and the car handles it very well)
- Driver and Passenger Seats are very comfortable.
- Decent Audio Quality (I had a car with Focal Setups before). I also heard the audio system of their 1.6 Blue, and the sound quality is pretty decent.
- Fuel Consumption is around 11L / 100KM, mix driving, ODO Reading is at 154KM, and is expected to improve in the next 1k-2k Km.
- Door trims, Dash board and other plastic interiors are decent enough
- Engine Power is quite decent for a 1.4L engine displacement.
- Very Huge Trunk Space, and I feel it bigger than my wife's honda city 2010
- Braking Performance is pretty decent (ABS-EBD for their 1.4Matic and 1.6Blue Matic)

Cons:

- 4 Speed ManuMatic Transmission. It could have been better if they went for their 5 speed manumatic transmission

- Its 14" Mags slapped with 175/75/R14 tires. 15" would be better, but their 1.6Blue is sporting a meatier 195/50/R16 tires. But now a days, everybody wants their cars' shoes be replaced with a 17 or an 18" mags...

- Leg Room on the rear passengers. I find my Honday City bigger than our new accent in terms of leg room on the rear passengers.

Overall I think, the Hyundai Accent is the best your money can buy at this time!!! It's supply & demmand status could tell it.

What's the update of your fuel consumption boss? I have reserved my unit na (1.4 GL AT) but will get it 2nd week of June

I own a 7months Hyundai Getz. So far so good. also ang After service sa Hyundai like change oil and tune-up is great!
