    i'll get the D90 over 60D

what i like D90 is that it is proven and is cheaper.
Very good ergonomics, grip, 2 control dials, etc.
    cheaper original batteries.
kit lens is good (18-105VR), effective VR, FTM focus.
what i don't like. rubber seals tends to get loose and expands.

    lens suggestion: 35mm F/1.8 AF-S, 18-200 F/3.5-5.6 VR2 or the kit 18-105VR

what i like about 60D is the "star rating" feature
articulated LCD if you like it, it might be a fragile part.
video if you need it (canon strength)
i haven't tried long enough to have a good conclusion

lens suggestion: 17-85 F/4-5.6 IS, 85mm F/1.8, or the 17-55 F/2.8 IS if you can afford.

dghan controls ang DSLR compared to a digicam even if same2 ra cla ug image quality..
ur learning is also much more faster with DSLRs...

Some people bought and entry DSLR but eventually bought the more expensive models mas dako na hinuon ang gasto,, hehehe

what you do is borrow if somebody is kind enough to lend for like 2 weeks and get the feel, see if your really wanted photography and get good photograpy stuff.

That's what you call "upgrade" sir because they got better.
and for better photographers = better camera bodies
where did they get the experience to become better?
by handling basic dslrs that offer you just enough to make you good...
    I hope you understand that.

ako sir i prefer to start sa entry-level nga DSLR para mahibaw-an kung mao ba gyud ang linya. naa man gud uban nga suya suya ra nya mopalit ug DSLR (regardless of price) nya pgka human mo quit after 6mos kay mka realize wla silay time and dili nila hilig. so at least kung nakita nmo nga di gyud para imo ang photography mabaligya ra nmo ang camera ug dali and dili kaayo dako ug gastos.

compare sa mga hi-end na nga camera ang unang paliton nya after 6mos imo baligya tanan kay dili nmo linya and maglisod nkag baligya kay priceless kaayo ang bodies and lens

and for borrowing of units, morag maglisod siguro ta mka kita ug hing-ani in reality... bisag celpon gani dba di kaayo ta gusto ipahuwam sa atong silingan or classmates kay hadlok ta maguba labina guro kung expensive camera na..
