kinahanglan pag eresearch bro, usahay trial and error, also check sa review sites like cdfreaks forum pra makita unsa na dye ang maayo... u have to use a software to check the dye use... pede na ang dvd decrypter

@tin tin, naka experience napud ko ani. last week, nipalit kog dvd writer LG 16x, unya pagbasa nako ani nga thread, nakuyawan ko if basin ma ingani pud ako dvd writer, so i tried it for the first time last night with a Philips 16x dvd, i was disappointed because 4x rajud maximum.

but i confirmed with a lot of friends who are dvd writer owners today, and they said don't worry, ky thats normal, depende ra daw sa media gigamit.. basin ang uban fake unya dili tinuod nga 16x.

nipalit ko last week ug 16X nga dvd-r nga benq...
kay akon dvd writer kay benq (portable).

nya pag test nako sa qsuite sa benq, not ok daw mag burn ko ug 16X...
nga ilaha na jud na gani nga media ha...

nya gi test nako sa 12X, ni ok ra man...

so mao to, sa 12X nako gi burn, ok ra man ang output...

pero naay 16X sa nero, but gi set lng nako sa 12X, as recommended sa qsuite...

i suggest palit nalang judmo ug kana blank DVD nga gisulod jud ug plastic case daan meaning naa seal ba nga case aside sa cd casing nya... pero per piece mana cya gi seal....barato naman lng tag Php19.00 ra sa CD-R king BenQ ang brand 16x jud cya dili na ilad...then mas kampante ka kay dili mana cya bundle pagpalit so d jud prone to scratch and defects due to handling... Hussle-free then u are not afraid jud kung mo fail cya ig burn nimo... so far iv burned 50+ dvd's na using 16x sa BenQ nga media pero ka2 jud with seal nga plastic... kapalit gudko ug 100dvd's kanang bundle then nagmahay ko sobra 50 guba jud... nya maau pa kung nipalit ko ug tinagsa....

^^nice suggestion, labi na dri sa pinas nga mga baligya... kaning baligya gud nga nakaspindle prone to scratch and also mga low end na blank disc ang kasagara baligya sa pinas market..

that's funny...i think i bought the same drive as you did...LG 16x dvdr-dl? and i have a bunch of 8x IOmega dvds here that burn at 12x with no problems...hmmm....
