    * -- Start a business - kung pobre ka, how can u when u dont have the capital? dali rani sa mga born rich kids
    * -- Work for a charity - how can u give when u dont have anything? kung ikaw ang kinahanglan tabangan ug charity, how can u start a charity in that sense?
    * -- Travel the world - wala gani budget para kuha passport, travel pa kaha?
    * -- Create art - same, is it free to be creative? can someone give u free canvas, paint brushes, art materials? gawas siguro kung imong media kay basura, kana, free ra jud
    * -- Master a sport - how? when u cant afford a decent sport shoes, when u cant pay a sports club membership. gawas siguro kung takyan na nga sport, k ra, afford sa tanan
    * -- Write a book - how can u market it? publication expense? marketing and advertisement? gawas ug c pacman ka nya nagsulat kas imong autobiography, but then pacman is now very rich and famous man sad
    * -- Make people laugh - how can u make people laugh when u r so stressed out thinking where to get money to have food on the table??

what im saying is, you should realize that these things are only made possible if u were born rich and your parents can afford to give u these luxuries. pero kung pobre ka, still education will be your only way to make a difference in your life.

this is what people who aim to be merely employees all their lives say!

that is what college teaches us.. study to be someone else's employee so that someone can enjoy the world while you break your back and ruin your future with a little cash.

yes to education...as far as reading, 'riting, and 'rithmetic..

Those are alternatives...I know of some people who engaged in those things aforementioned and they are succeeding. But before you get sold out to the idea of that, always remember that everything in life is never easy and that it always require dedication and time. Would you immediately believe that those other options do not cost anything? It does too. Mura ra pud na sa uban butang, like being a pop artist, heck anybody can try to do it, but not all will succeed.

I know a bit of this because, I have worked with FOREX, Stock Market investors and Robert Kiyosaki advocates, and only a few have succeeded. Most fail, a few break even and only a small number make gains. But it is true that for most who make gains, once they get the hang of it, they do get very handsome gains.

    we should pursue our dreams..

and not waste precious time and resources..

in that time frame called college..

I wouldn't recommend the advice being offered in that article to people I care for. The chances of succeeding in life with a college degree is as high as the chances of failing without. This is a fact, people with degrees have an advantage over those who do not.

If college were a waste of time and resources, then how come even the self made rich do not hesitate to invest in the education of their children? In our country there is no better authority on the subject than the first generation taipans whose children are encouraged to toil for their degrees from prestigious universities abroad.

this has been the case in olden times.

work at an early age enable us to gain experience.

how often we say nga work is never the same as the things taught in schools?

ang diploma is para lang pang apply work..pero inig work na, lahi na kaayo.

the only college worth pursuing is a military academy.

the rest is common sense pag abot sa work na.

this is the reason we have apprenticeship.. it goes back to ancient times.

wa na man tawn ta sa ancient times oi.. karong panahona, d ka katrabaho kung wala kay degree unless sa callcenter ka mutrabaho..
Most of the companies now need individuals that are already trained and knowledgeable about the skill set needed for the job. And how do they know they have that knowledge? mao nay gamit sa diploma.

who cares if you are made employees working for someone else anyway? as long as you get enough money, have a good job, as long as you love your job, what more could you ask for? it's just a matter of how you take most out of your education.

in.ana na jud ka taas ang pride sa mga tao nga dapat dili sila gina employ sa usa ka tao cz ul just be working for them? ai daaahhh. maski nakauna clag skwela natoh mao in.ana ilang position or maski dato clang gipanganak mao naa clai ingon ana daan imo jung kasuyaan??
    hahaha.

i say, work hard., be wise,. love your job.. and, earn a lot! hahaha. =)) loooooolx! this is so nonsense.
