    Well all I know iyang liso sa Gimilina or Yamane kay maka hilo daw coz i havnt tried eating it pa mao na ingun sa mga tao sa among lugar kay Im from Mindanao man unya daghan Gimilina didto samo...but if incase alay effect sa imong mga animals ang wood shaving... well, thats good news kay so far ala pajud ko ka try ana using woodshaving kay mahadlok lagi ko..though I read some articles na naay issue about toxic sa animals but it was not been proven jud na maka daot..

    BTW, bottle water imo gamit sa imong mga pets or water dish..?kay ang ako man gud kikabalak-an if toxic jud sya.. if im using water dish unya masagol unya ilang mainum basin ma unsa sila...but if ala gihapon effect then maybe okay sya gamiton....

    Kay actually nangita jud me og wood shave na barato sir kay perting mahala sige palit sa petstore..unya duol pajud sako place kay Maguikay ko....hmmm I will used tana this one for my hedgehogs...hasa exactly inyo sir?

    @ Badme: Thanks for that very educational info.. truly aprc8 it... at the end of the day... we still are very much concern with the health and welfare of our pets... just like you... i have done quite of a research on this particular type of wood and so far it is not of close affinity to PINE and CEDAR family... besides, the shavings doesn't consist of 100% Gemelina coz its mixed... but just to satisfy everybody's concern... we will eliminate gemelina from our next production...

    By the way, i am just offering this option to fellow pet enthusiast as a matter of good faith and NOT for commercial gains... since I myself had been truly held bondage with the cost of imported substrates and its availability in the market. Again....up to you sir!

    Oh i forgot... whether we use bottle or bowl... it doesnt really make any difference since rodents are known to chew almost anything... so they can just chew straight-out the substrate if they really want to... just a thought....
