Don't worry about that. Porma2x nalang na, since you already have a marriage certificate. Ang importante ra gyud is that the civil registrar has a copy of your marriage certificate. Sila na bahala mu-issue/forward ug copy ana, again as already mentioned by someone earlier to prevent any fake certificates from being used/copied. Kung di gani certified sa civil registrar, di gyud na dawaton = meaning di i-recognize inyong kasal.

Why is that important? Kay en caso naay mu-question sa inyong kasal, like let's say naay mu-claim nga siya ang karapat dapat na asawa sa imong bana. Kung unsa ang naa sa record sa civil registrar mao ra gyud na ang sundon. Mao ra gyud na ang i-recognize sa law.

Ang kanang engrande nga church wedding is just a ceremony in the literal sense of the word. Dili na mao ang gi-pasabot ug gi-require sa balaod, ang importante ra gyud kay kamo duha mismo ang naa sa atubangan sa pari/judge etc nya naa moy duha kabuok witness na at least 18 anyos/legal age.

A grand marriage ceremony is really just done so that the families of both parties may participate in the union that they will be entering into. Syempre mas nindot man gyud nang ingon ana labi na kung close mo sa family. Pero ang tinuoray gyud, dili kinahanglan nga engrande. In other words, pa-porma2x ra na ang church wedding. Once you are married civilly, you get your Marriage Certificate. Mao na na siya, considered as married na ka. You won't be getting another Marriage Certificate. Congrats!

After the time you got married change dayun kag status or as long you have the marriage cert u r now married. Its gud for you to change daan og status so that in case og out of the country ka then mka work ka didto madala dayun nimu imung bana or asawa and anak sad in the future....
