Same as me house already paid. I like my little luxuries and can get by on 35-50k per month. Whatever extra I receive goes into projects.

Consolacion is a boom area thanks to the North Coastal Rd and the upcoming SM Mall. Lots in reputable subdivisions will skyrocket in value in the next few years in my opinion.

I can survive here in cebu for only 20k per month (bills, food, transpo and extras) but 20k cannot pay for somebody else's education, repairs sa house, medications or emergency situations like na.i maaksidente. And a 20k/month cannot cover for maintenance for your car.

Hi guys, Just want to ask question: pila man,do u think, to live comfortably in Cebu? I just bought a house sa Lapu2x and Im just weighing my options cause I want to retire early and maybe, mag tukod nalng ug gamay nga negosyo ( tiguman sah). murag ka ingon nmn cya nga nag palit na cya balay sa lapu2x..so lets help him think what business he could do in lapu2x... simple and cheap ra mn ang food sa cebu compared manila..expensive ang clothes and other stuff sa cebu compared manila.good think food is cheap.. i guess if you are located near a resort try carendiria nga imo target is mga foreigners and mga out of towners. imo looks sa imo carenderia kai murag festive kau..food nimo kanang daghan kapilian etc... then you have the specialty stuff sa imo carenderia plus the stk and ang kadakon sa imo kan anan... im planning to do that once maka balhin nako sa lapu2x house. im also tired here working abroad.and thats my best idea to work out... good thing my house is just along the road of hilton,shangri-la and other resorts and hotels... sana mag boom!
