My two cents: Should be the wife! I'd be really insulted if my hubby handles the finances. It denotes lack of trust. Even if the wife don't know how to handle money, he should help her until she can do it by herself.

kami kay kami duha ang ga handle.. sabot2x para fair play
ako handle money.. ako ra husband nagwork...ako nagkupot iya atm (payroll), naa cya extra income, iya give naku..keep cya iya secretly, then if wala na kuno cya money ask cya naku... but if naa ko buy, i let him know, and naa ko lista tanan nag expense.. recording, pag withdraw sa salary, till expenses...
thankful lang sad ko nga naa trust ako husband. bsan dli cya ask unsa ako gas2, but still ako lang record, incase mag away pangitaan unya ko iya agi...
its a wife's role. bahalag di kabalo mo budget, makat on ra kadugayan...![]()
me, handle most of the finances of the house.
Me head of household ako tanan. It must be nice if I have someone there to share all the bills and responsibilities gusto ko if that time comes, tagaan na lang ko allowance kapoy na ko sa money handling. even now, i leave my daughter in charge of it sometimes and she's good with budgeting too. I just dont like money handling. Siya kay teller man sa bangko so she is used to it.
ako nalang handle sa imo finances para wa labad ulo, hehehe.....

i think they should both handle the finances.. nowadays, it's not uncommon to see the wives working naman gud..which of course would imply na the wives may have their own account (in contrary to the thought that spouses must have a joint account or whatver), can take part (financially) in the budgeting and not just left there to do the math.
it would be best if both can compromise on who pays what. like say, tuition, who pays for that; utility bills like, VECO, MCWD, telephone, internet, cable; insurances (whether car, house, personal, education); rent or mortgage, food, clothing, entertainment, etc.
dili na uso ang kanang ang husband mu-hatag tanan kwarta then asawa ray budget.. saona rana when women were treated with discrimination. hehe![]()
