i think it makes sense to have the bios switch outside the casing for easy access during a bad flash or oc....i hate those hard to access pesky jumpers

Interesting nel. so the brand colorful produces pc components from scratch (as in designing pcb's and munufacturing etc)? I wonder if they follow the reference design (for the gtx460 in this case) and just puts a killer looking heatsink on it. Would definitely be worth looking into.

gal, knowing their market IMHO most of their graphics card are based on reference design and having seen them and hate to say this, most are made with cheaper components. Colorful is not alone but there are lots of brands sold out there that I'm not familiar with the brand. I'm guessing having some site review their specially engineered product (outside of their market) will give them publicity and instant brand recognition. I could be wrong though but i think what happens is that they pay sites to review their product and establish the name iGame as a brand like Inno 3D's ichill or Palit's Sonic to compete on the upper food chain. Btw,Onda a big brand in China also makes a 460 that has similar design to the colorful in the cooling department:

Optical out is also NOT a very common feature on VC's. Would this carry DTS, THX, Dolby audio codes to a dedicated home audio reciever perhaps? what happens to the audio from the HDMI output? q's q's................

my zotac gtx 295 gives me the option to connect it to my sound card and use the hdmi output on the 295 for video and audio (god bless one less cable to worry) but I am not sure if all of HD audio format you mentioned are supported because I don't have a receiver and 7.1 HT set up yet hihi (puhon kung kaloy-an ni papa jo) ...Just guessing that if the HD media is saved on the hard drive the chipset might control or restrict (proprietary reason) on what HD Audio format to output also . Maybe a workaround but not sure on this is that you connect the bluray optical drive directly to a hi-end soundcard like the asus xonar, then to the videocard and use the HDMI out on the video card to output both Video and Audio basin ma output na all the HD Audio including lossless etc. But don't take my word for it bec I am still learning all this stuff...you will know better since this is your field
