lisud jud no if western kaayo ato orientation, ultimo pagkumentaryo sa DJ daginoton... Ngano diay kung bisdak, bawal na magDJ? If dili ka ganhan then ayaw paminaw! Wala jud ta bisan gamay na suporta sa ato kaugalingon pinulongan. FYI, the manager of smash FM is a pure blooded Tagalog then mao pa nuon nagpasiugda ug pagpatukar ug Binisaya!!! Ang dyRT bitaw sauna, nibagsak pud kay tungod sa pagkawalay suporta sa Bisaya na katilingban! At least si Ram ug Bernie (Ka pedro) are just true to theirselves and to the dialect that they are proud of! Unya ikaW

Ka Pedro was one of those responsible for putting-in Bisayan dialect to FM Stations. Other DJs followed suit kay nagka-puliki pud intawon ug inenglish ang uban.

They are both advocates of Bisayan language and injecting them to the heavily foreign-oriented FM mainstream in more ways than one. And somehow, they succeeded.

So, DJ Ram or Ka Pedro You are like comparing apple to an orange - but at least pareho silang maka-on.
Grade one pa ko ani ni ka pedro and i i remember correctly, 2 hours ra to iya pinoy rock sauna from 5-7am then 7-9am ky Peter St. John na iya name then english paka dayon...

Then along the way he decided to dropped Peter St. John and went with the Ka Pedro moniker along with pinoy rock straight to 9am. The rest of the DJs were still in English. Then they made whole day saturday pinoy rock show where they allowed other DJs to have a bisdak moniker and speak bisaya throughout. Then if i remember pa jud correctly they made their saturday names their official DJ names all throughout the week along with the bisaya language.

It was actually weird ky they're playing bands like Pearl Jam, Sunny Day Real Estate, Pavement, weezer, Yo La Tengo, etc while speaking bisaya in between or introducing the songs in bisaya...

I think it was 99.5 RT ang nagpa-uso nga ok r di ay magbinisaya sa FM radio...

Too sad lang ky nagchanged sila ug format pag 1998.

siguro if rock pa sila karon nindot unta... sauna sa rock pa sila they used to play alot of obscure bands na dili jud regular sa ila playlist (mostly i can hear it on Jolon the Hitman aka Papa Jo and Dr. Einstein's slot).

i think i can still recall the classic 99.5 RT DJs

    5-9am- Ka Pedro
    9-12N- Dr. Einstein
    12-3pm- Neil Plan
3-6pm-Jolon The Hitman (aka Papa Jo)
    6-9pm- Brother Andrews
    9-12Md- Professor Pie
12-3am- John Michael (later on became Juan Miguel)
    3-5am- Imsok (R.I.P)

then mga around 1992-1993 when they were called a pop-rock station (majority of the playlists were rock though even though a little pop popped out every now and then like Ace of Base, 2 Unlimited, Erasure, MLTR,etc)

i can still recall Dr. Einstein's Top 30 Rock (later around 1997 became Top 40 Rock countdown) countdown with two versions of All Apologies. One by Nirvana and the other by a girl singer. forgot the name though. then that's the only rock countdown i knew that played Michael Learns To Rock(it was 25 minutes and someday that i recalled)
