^^ sakto jud ka bro. sluggish jud ang drivers sa ATI compared to nvidia. i find that a lot of ppl not only uninstall their old ATI drivers but clean it using uninstall software like drivercleaner before installing new ones just to make sure the new drivers run smoothly. But mas bias man ko to good hardware rather than software kay ang hardware dili man ma ilisdan ug dali while ang software can be revised with updates =D Pero frustrating lang jud while problematic pa imo software lolz

no news of nvidia? they still havent released all of their 400 series lineup... they better do something because AMD/ATI is really aggressive right now.
Actually, NVIDIA has one ace right now over ATI and that is the GTX 460. ATI doesn't really have a new competing product right now unless they also lower the price of their Radeon 5850.

In fact reading most reviews, NVIDIA's GTX 460 has taken over ATI's 5850 as the best video card in that price range. This is a nice breather for NVIDIA considering their previous Fermi-based offerings have not been exactly attractive from a price/watt/temperature per performance perspective.

Yes, the GTX460 is really a great card but that is not enough to make nvidia succeed in the gpu market. It certainly didnt help them in a $141 million loss: Nvidia Announces $141 Million Net Loss in Q2FY11

the $200 segment is not the only marketing segment.... with the ATI 6000 series looming, surely nvidia better not be betting soley on the gtx460.

Uh, I did say that NVIDIA has one ace over ATI and NOT that NVIDIA can live off from GTX 460 alone.

I think we all know that ATI had an overwhelming lead of success with their 5XXX series of cards.

I'm just looking at this from a gamer/end user's perspective. I don't really care kung ATI or NVIDIA pa na gikan. I just want to get the card with the most attractive performance per price and/or per watt ratio. If I were to buy a card right NOW, NVIDIA's latest Fermi so far looks like a great choice for me.
