@all
john hu didnt start this guitar copying business(its done by request), so who did it first its Dan Li of Musoland.com and there was also david liu who did copies too..
now how to figure out if the guitar is a copy or not, its easy..
- the neck is 2 pc instead of 1 pc mahogany neck
- the trussrod does not have a brass insert that what we call a 'popeye pipe' wrench uses, another thing its uses the wrong trussrod cover, gibson trussrod covers are thick and show more white on the edges
- the lack of the 'binding nibs' sa fret ends
- the way its wired,
- the wires used
-even the switch is not gibson correct, also the pots..it may be quarter-sized pots but its not even long shafts and gibson stamped
@lp copy sellers, just be honest. nanu gud mag pa pretend ug baligya na orig when its not? pa ra maka ginansya dala sa ilad2x? kuha ug sakto na trabaho para dli mangilad
@lp copy buyers..if you're not experienced setting up your guitars(not just trussrod adjustment! but also fret leveling and crowning)..why bother? para lang sa logo? its all to common ako mabasan, 'ako g baligya kai dli gibson' LOL! get real! some of you havent even played a real one, if naa most likely studio og standard plain top, a Gibson can only be a Gibson, you may read through about tokai's, edwards and grassroots LP's and those arent even gibson spec'd. they love it because how these guitars are setup and how the japs do their fret-finishing
when i bought my two Lp-Jhu copies they are priced 175 shipped here's what you're really paying for
guitar = 100
shipping = 75..
now john raised prices because EMS shipping prices are up, but would a $100 guitar beat a $2,200 Gibson LP stock per stock?
the main reason these are priced like starter guitars because they are to me Toys and fixer upper guitars,
when not to buy these guitars?, when you dont have access to the tools essential to fix up guitars, and you dont have access to affordable parts to have fun and make them better..
