I would say they are RELATED but SOCIALITES are for the MASA and ELITES are for the chosen few . As an example , Me and you are socialites because we prefer CLUBBING instead of BAILI sa PISTA , correct ? But we wil never be an ELITIST because we are NOBODY but just a mere guest of that establishment , not even a VIP could be an ELITE because I could be a VIP also just because kumpare nako ang tag-iya sa Vudu as an example .
but let's not forget "REFINED" (if you know what that means)
Right time and right place ATTITUDE .
and!! you are no socialite or whatsoever though you are "Lucio Tan" or Arroyo if you don't "socialize"... (where the word 'socialites' came from)
Exactly !! Because you are not a SOCIALITE but an ELITE . There is a fine line between that , and BTW you could be as ROWDY and UNRULY as you can be and still be an ELITE . As a socialite , you have yo be careful kay ka usa lang ka masipyat . So wether socialite nor elite is the key for finding a good place you will only become a SOCIALITE when you socialized but you will always be an ELITE no matter what you do . You are comparing an ADJECTIVE and a NOUN thats why you are maybe confused .
yuppies, designers, entrepenuers, models, etc. etc.
These I think are the socialites type of people and nothing is wrong them .
