@ weed - like everyone else here in my area has this nagging question...Why do we support the Jews? is it -

a.) Because of the Man who nailed on the cross was a Jew? - or-
b.) "Just Because"...
c.) or was it the Guilt...

I love the answer of letter (b)... was it probably there are many Jews for the votes? or could it be somethin else? Theres a Lot of questions out there that is being answerd but it really does not hit the mark - as it was answerd it brings more questions on the table.

Before World War II or during the inevitable of World War II, The Jews were already persecuted not only in Germany but also in Poland, Czech Republic & other Eastern European States. And they were also the center of Racial Jokes even up to this day. There were thousand of Jews who sailed across the Atlantic to escape the persecution in Europe...most of them sailed to the U.S. As they arrive @ the Ports, Many of them were sent away & others were made to turn back where they came from.

Was it Guilt?..coz we turn them away before? maybe...maybe not. Israel was then a nation after World War II. And after that, the U.S. was the center of the blame...actualy the U.S. was misunderstood even up to this date. For the record....It was the "English" who carved Israel in the map of the Middle East...Why do they do that?? dunno... Was it because the "Europeans" dont want the Jews in their neighborhoods? Could be. Before World War II, there are so many harsh experience of some European Folks on how these Rich Jews treated them like Crap!. As soon there were influx or exodus of Jews all over the world returning to the newly carved Israel which was Palestine before...They (Jews) thrive.

After that, conflicts between Palestinian & Jews started. Palestinian's wants their nation back, & the Jews have this an eye for an eye virtue of the Old Testament. During the 7 day War...I think that was during the 70's; Egypt, Lebanon, Syria & some others fought Israel. They want to drive off the Jews out of the Middle East. Israel bought Hardware from the English, Germans, U.S, French & the Italians - And NATO was walking on a Thin Ice... due to Diplomatic Relations towards Saudi Arabia, Turkey & some other moderate Islam States & that includes Iran before. Known Fact... the Jews can never be controlled. We tried to interfere & persuade them...You know what they (Jews) did; they fired shots one of our Destoryers @ the Red Sea.
To make matters worst, Former President Jimmy (no back bone) Carter...gave the Jews "Nukes" We were like...(Holy smokes, these folks wont hesitate to use it.)

Was it good or bad? It did end the seven day war...but it adds more conflict in the Middle East even up to this date & in the future. There were tales that..how could Israel pull it off facing such adversaries; Some sayzz which was dismissed & shrug off by News media; that they saw "Angels w/ Chariots, Swords, w/ Bows & Arrows that help Israel fought those Islam Nations in which it made Anwar Saddat of Egypt made the 1st effort to make Peace w/ Israel - but then some were furious of his actions & he was assasinated by a barrage of bullets of an AK-47.

Israels conflicts affects us all. As what he said.."Dont weep for Me..Weep for your Childrens; Children"
Nobody can controll Israel..not even the U.S. & the European Union. As what the Old cebuano expression was
..."banyaga, Judeo kang dako"!

Not trying to prove ANYTHING, bro. That's why I provided a link for y'all to read further. If you notice, I didn't even give my personal comment on this Muslims/Jews issue cause I am not taking sides on this cause I am for neither. Both Muslims AND the Jews have a lot of issues to resolve and I can never in conscience side with either one. I just thought people here will find it interesting and start a Sensible discussion for us to enjoy reading.

I really hate this type of uneducated generalization and blatant misinformation. Have you been under a rock for a century? Violence and crime can, have and will happen anywhere, and it is not just because of religious preference, but an end result of the interaction of a multitude of factors.

Christians have been enemies to Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, etc... remember the Inquisition? The Crusades? The genocide of millions of Native American Indians by, hold your breath, a majority which consisted of Christians!!!

..earlier I saw a very nice bumper sticker in the car in front of me....one word lang COEXIST ...ang naka nindot was the way it was written...the letter C was kana bitaw morag sa muslims nga half moon symbol...then ang O kay kanang circular symbol of peace....the letter S ...ang star of david sa Jews...then ang last letter T cross of the Christians....i do not know if i am able to describe it good enough for you to imagine it...pero i really liked that one...
