i was about to go to the buy and sell section when the title caught my attention
i've had this for a few months na. december last year nag sugod.
there's ringing in my right ear. it started when nag sinus ko
and did2 ko sa disco and the music was intense and nag vertigo ko.
igo rako naka uli, i vomitted, the ringing was still there when i slept.
until now wahh........
i don't know if it was the sinusitis that caused or just the music or a bad combination.
at that time, i had so many activities, i was also over fatigued. ni adto pa jud ug bar.
after man gud to sa xmas party sa amo company.
i did some research on the internet, watched youtube... there's no cure..
it really bothered me at first but i've learned to live with it. i don't notice it na unless
i'm reminded about it.
i went to the doctor after 1 month, he checked my ear, naa daw na stuck na mucus, i dont
the antibiotics, after 2 weeks pa ko naka balik niya. wala nay mucus but the ringing is still there.
he gave prescribed some vitamins, i didn't take them.
i dont think mawala pa na ni.

Most tinnitus is caused by a problem with the inner ear, which converts sounds to nerve signals, the auditory nerve, which carries these signals to the brain, and the parts of the brain involved in decoding those signals into what we sense as sounds.
Tinnitus is often linked to hearing loss. For this reason it's more common in older people who have age-related hearing loss.
Exposure to loud noise at work may also cause tinnitus. If you work with pneumatic drills or in noisy factories, you may be more at risk of having tinnitus.
Other possible causes of tinnitus can come from your ear, auditory nerve (which carries signals from your inner ear to your brain), infections, side-effects of medicines you have taken and because of problems with your jaw or teeth. These include:
• Ménière's disease, which results from an increased pressure in the inner ear and also causes deafness and vertigo
• otosclerosis, a condition in which the small bones of the middle ear become stiff and immobile
• ear infections and inflammation
• hard wax blocking your ear
• middle-ear infection (the type that's often known as "glue ear" in children)
• acoustic neuroma, a benign (non-cancerous) tumour of the auditory nerve
• high doses of medicines including aspirin, quinine and some antibiotics, water tablets (diuretics) and chemotherapy drugs
• head injury or whiplash
• problems with the joint between your jaws (this is called the temporomandibular joint), which can also lead to pain in the head or face
If you have tinnitus, you are more likely to be depressed. It's not clear whether this is because tinnitus makes depression more likely or if being depressed makes you more likely to have tinnitus.
What are the causes of Tinnitus ?
Cause of tinnitus #1: Most tinnitus comes from damage to the microscopic endings of the hearing nerve in the inner ear.
Cause of tinnitus #2: Hearing loss. Doctors and scientists have discovered that people with different kinds of hearing loss also have tinnitus. Too much exposure to loud noise can cause tinnitus.
Cause of tinnitus #3: Long-term use of certain medications. Aspirin used in large doses, quinine, antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs can affect inner ear cells. Trauma-related damage to your inner ear.
Cause of tinnitus #4: Temporomandibular joint problems. These are "jaw joint" disorders, and they may result in clicking or grating noises when you move the jaw.
Cause of tinnitus #5: Stiffening of the bones in the middle ear.
Cause of tinnitus #6: A hole in or a rupture of the eardrum.
Cause of tinnitus #7: Ear infection. If an infection reduces your ability to hear outside noises, you're more likely to hear the noises related to tinnitus.
Cause of tinnitus #8: Ear wax. Buildup of excess wax in your ear can reduce your ability to hear or inflammation of the eardrum membrane, the middle ear, or the inner ear.
Cause of tinnitus #9: Allergies, tumors, and problems in the heart and blood vessels, jaws, and neck can cause tinnitus. High blood cholesterol clogs arteries that supply oxygen to the nerves of the inner ear. If you are older, advancing age is generally accompanied by a certain amount of hearing nerve impairment and tinnitus.
Cause of tinnitus #10: Diet can affect tinnitus. Specific foods may trigger tinnitus. Foods include red wine, grain-based spirits, cheese, and chocolate quinine/tonic water, high fat, high sodium can all make tinnitus worse in some people.
Cause of tinnitus #11: Stress is not a direct cause of tinnitus, but it will generally make an already existing case worse. Ringing in the ears also sometimes accompanies vertigo (dizziness).
Cause of tinnitus #12: Maskers are small electronic devices that use sound to make tinnitus less noticeable. Maskers do not make tinnitus go away, but they make the ringing or roaring seem softer.
Alternative treatments:
Some people have taken minerals such as magnesium or zinc, herbal preparations such as Ginkgo biloba, homeopathic remedies, or B vitamins for their tinnitus and found them to be helpful. Others have experienced tinnitus relief with acupuncture, sacral therapy, magnets, hyperbaric oxygen, or hypnosis.

Home remedies for Tinnitus #3: Ginkgo biloba helps to reduce dizziness and improve hearing loss related to reduce blood flow to the ears.
