where did u get that information? do you know why is it cheaper than the regular ones being sold here? from the looks of the ES, the regular still looks better to me.

Sir, we're not talking the looks here. if you check the specs of the ES, it's has a slight edge over the 230, the advantage of the 230 is the modular cabling system. And it doesn't mean that it is cheap, its not as good as the other.The ES & the 230 are made by different OEM that' why their design, looks are different, but in terms of performance they are at par with each other. The ES being a single rail , while the 230 is dual rail.

i personally recommend for SST-ST50F-ES for powering a budget/basic gaming rig, single gpu!
