It's clearly stated in Rule Number One of the iStorya.net rules and regulations:

    https://www.istorya.net/forums/news-a...rum-rules.html

    1. Moderators are to be treated with utmost respect. If you have any issues with Moderators, course them thru the admins (BeoR / Galadriel) of the site or thru GlassMoon / Seducer privately. Persistent violations will result in a ban.

I'd be more than welcome to be removed as a moderator, if the administrators/owners of iStorya.net see fit. Otherwise, I am the designated moderator of this thread, and no one will dictate to me how I run things around here. So go ahead, and make your complaints THROUGH PROPER CHANNELS, it's your right. Do not however, pollute this board with your complaints--doing so will earn you a ban--no infractions, just a plain direct ban, as stated in Rule Number One.

Again, kung dili na sad klaro, those who react to this post in a manner that violates Rule Number One, will receive a ban. Enough said.

Lahi man ang istayl ninyo, trial by publicity man nang inyoha--mag gather ug mga like-minded people and decide "Sige, atong patangtang si rodsky as moderator of the Science subforum, who are with us? Magpost ta didto and express our utter resentment at how he handles the forum!" (which is a clear violation of Rule Number One). Well, like I said, give it your best shot.

Hmm... I find this disturbing. If we do this to mods we get an infraction/ban but if a mod makes the same conclusion about an istoryan we still get the same? No matter what happens stalemate ni? Unsa mani rods? Are you guys playing us for fools that you certain mods here believe that this forum's privelege is like some piece of meat you dangle at Cebuano/Filipinos/and others?

You were basically saying "people can act according to his own free will" but said another thing in the end "people should control their free will". Unsa man jud bro, act according to his own free will, or control hiw own free will. Sorry brad, la ko kasabot kay usa man gud ko sa mga feeble-minded. Thanks nalang daan.
Sorry for the delay in answering to this post, I missed reading it.

As to the contradiction, I don't find anything contradictory to it--I said one of the reasons why I perhaps am in favor of religion is that it curtails the freedoms of those who cannot control their will, in the sense that their will might be dictating themselves to do some act harmful to others. If religion can control that urge, then I'd be happy. If religion (i.e. Islam) however, drives its constituents to crash airliners into buildings, then I'd be sad. It's that simple--I see no contradiction to this.

I have been informed that religious people who have been visiting this subforum and section and have been offended by my "feeble-minded" remarks feel that I have to offer a public apology for such a remark. So I offer my apologies for uttering such a remark. I have no means or power to convince you that my words are sincere, and thus just take it for what it is. I'm sorry to have called religious people as "feeble-minded"--I stand corrected.

Pointless bai. Only half of that rule is actually in effect. The one marked in green never actually happens. Tell me, in the history of istorya, how many mods have ACTUALLY been banned? Last time I checked even the obnoxious ones are still here.

layo ra sad kaayo nang religion.

pananglit lang, it's a fact that the pituitary gland is responsible for growth or height.
then after 20 years from now naay mogawas nga findings nga dili diay.

it's not about scientific process, i mean, maybe just maybe naay bag-ong mga studies nga mogawas then ang isa ka scientific fact ma-proven to be wrong.

my point is, will all scientific facts today hold true after 50 or so years?
Ha? Ngano ngutana man kag 50 years or so? Constant development or change bya gyawyaw nmo. Pasabot ba ani nga waly kasigurhan ang science? Its good to be doubtful anyway.

If iStorya.net were a publicly-owned board, then there's a chance that a moderator could be banned. However, it is NOT publicly-owned, thus KLARO KAAYO that the owners ang mag-buot kung kinsa ang ma-ban ug dili, and chances are, it will NOT be any moderator--ka klaro ana. So the solution is, if dili ka ganahan as to how the board is being run, and wonder why any moderators are NOT getting banned, then nganong naa pa man ka diri and sigeg reklamo, nga ing ani man dyud ang pagpadagan sa board? Publicly owned ba diay ang board? The owners decide. Period.

ako ra nang giingon nga 50 years 'syo oy para pag-estimate lang kunuhay ba nga in 50 years time naay moabot nga bag-ong findings.

yes, it's true nga constant development ang science pero there are some studies that would take 50 years una mogawas ang resulta.

wala na siya magpasabot nga wala'y kasiguruhan ang science, it simply means that it may take several years for a certain theory to be proven right or wrong.
