Depends on the revies that come out on reliable sites.

But what i have in mind now is a complete water cooling set-up i want total silence in my PC and zalman isnt even cutting it.

here's a few pics of my water-cooled PC (both proc and gpu). external ang pump and rad/fan... para better ang cooling (naa air-con ang room)... comments are wellcome.

processor is a 3.0ghz prescott running at 4ghz
gpu is a 6800gt

temps (w/ air-con on):
proc: idle = 36 degC, load = 43 degC
gpu: idle = 47 degC, load = 53 degC

pump has been running 24/7 for 6 months now (off lang kung brown-out)
coolant mixture - 85% distilled water + 15% prestone coolant + 2 drops UV dye + 5 drops iodine soln

You'd be better off in an off-case design. Maybe at least just the pump and reservoir enclosed in a foam padded acrylic box. If a Zalman isn't good enough then a humming pump won't cut it either.

hahahaha,.... yeah i know,.....i notice it even more at night when i cant blast my speakers,....

i'v been thinkin' bout goin' complete water cooling to,...... i estimated it to be around $250 - $300 if i go dat direction,....

260~300 at most

already got the parts i needed in mind. maybe il get it end of the year or early next year.

or maybe il wait til next year so that a new and better pumps/blocks are out and then il grab those..

cooling to noise ratio the water pump is as good as dead silent.I've helped install my cousin's DIY watercooling set-up im pretty much impressed with it.
and actually zalman isnt the most silent cooler around, after using a CNPS9500 and comparing it to TT-BT the BT is dead silent and cools better than the CNPS9500 ( based on my testing )
