@master kenny ikaw ra gyud maka hatag feedback sa D4D engine sir kay naa mo innova and ma compare nimo sa lain brand kay naa ka mits.

Fortuner 4x2 Diesel and Innova Diesel has the same engine. Naa lang difference gamay sa Torque. So far karon wala na kaayo me na encounter sa D4D problems.

guys, have you seen tonight's news on tv patrol regarding d4d engines of toyota, e.g. innova and fortuner? It's really annoying, engine stop working while your driving. I think it's better to buy a surplus cars....

@master predo- ok raman ang d4d naa lng jud uban na na timingan and mas dako chance naay maka encounter prob since maclaro man na pila pod ka units with d4d engines ang nahalin, so mas bigger probability naay magka problema. ka drive napod ko ug fort with d4d ok kayo responsive considering auto tranny.

@creation & big myk- naa diay sa news? tungod cguro jud na sa dirty diesel diri. tsk3 also kuyaw na aning mga korean brands mu overprice na samot!

we have one, currently used by my grandparents,, so far i like the acceleration ( for a diesel its not bad jud )... ride isnt bad and there are no problems with the engine.. well, as kenny said.. basin timing2 lang.. kai naguba aircon sa inyu ken?

tinood na nag problema ang Toyota before when D-4D engines were first introduced. Toyota says it might have something to do with fuel quality in the Philippines. After Toyota revised design on the diesel supply pump plus software revisions on the computer, no more problem na karon.

crosswind and innova lahi ra kaayo og diesel. common rail (d-4d) ang innova which gives more power, lesser noise, and more fuel efficient.

^ its true, nahinay hinay nag kawala ang engine stalling after they revised the injector and as what i know the root cause was the petrol. (i forgot the name of the engineer who told me)
