hehehe.. unsa man, uyon ka or supak ka 'wake up' call?

“The time has come for priests not to remain in their comfort zones by merely celebrating masses, holding novenas and processions. They should be very active in the social teachings of the Church,” Cruz said.

its more of a call for priest to get involve.

    1. Contingents
    2. Grandstand tickets

All benefits and gains goes to where? You guess it right! the Church! where else? and how do they spend it? They build another stone statue so people can pray to it and idolize it.

In other words "manipulative" sa gusto lang gud nila labanan.
there are actually two sinulogs that will happen during the feast of the Sto. Niño.
the traditional, religious sinulog is dance at the basilica. there are no contingents, costumes, judging, prizes, etc. just prayers.

i understand the sinulog you were complaining about is the cultural one. the church doesnt have a hand in it. it is organized by the city government through the Sinulog Foundation. its more on tourism promotion. so your accusation that the benefits and gains from the Sinulog mardi gra is wrong.

the catholic church is the most active sa pagsamok2x sa politics.. then next is ang Iglesia.. dont be blind to whats happening araound you.. and may i add, not all catholics follow the catholic church officials.. i salute them.. the catholic church is not the moral + political authourity of catholics and the non-catholics.. the church should not place its political interests first over its primary mission..

    another example lang ha...
tanawa ra gud and condition sa church-run orphanages.. murag mas dako pa gani budget sa pa pintal sa mga simbahan.. there is corruption even among the church officials.. luoy lang kaau mga loyal churchgoers.. they gave their love offering with all thier good intention only to be fooled by its leaders...

    another example..
why man ang simbahan hilom lang sa unsa nahitabo sa maguindanao?- i tought they were moral guardians.. di man gani sila maka ik sa mga muslim... puro ra hot air.... tsk tsk

what we need are dedicated priests and bishops who haev no interests in wealth and gratification. the catholic church in the country need reforms too

I think nobody is calling you a sinner here, but I was just wondering how clean you really are, 'coz I just got startled by your way of reading and judging other people's mind.

you were saying that no one has the authority to judge you whether you will go to hell or not ( which I supposed you really hated the most ...) but NOW it seems that you're showing us that you've gotten the power to judge other people as well...what kind of battle is this Sinner versus Sinner? what benefits can we expect out of this?

There is nothing wrong in expressing what's on your mind but do it evenly so that other people will not find you boastful.

    * coming from your previous statements nag ingun ka ang mga religious leaders tawo ra pud na sila pareho nimo , pareho nako, nga masayop, so therefore diay every time na masayop ang tawo okay ra diay kaayo tawagon nga evil? ( as what you've called them ) hinay2x lang ug gamit sa mga pulong Sir...anyway, you find these people as great sinners and you also also call yourself a sinner di ba dapat maka relate ka every time masayop sila?

kanang pastor or priest parihas rana sila servant of God or Shepherd ... wa man koy relihiyon ... mao rani akong na obserbahan ang simbahan nahimong pamolitika .... bisan unsa pay mahitabo gawas sa simbahan as far as i know wala jud labot nang naa sulod sa simbahan .... as far as i know in this material world which is outside of the kingdom of God, what they are belong inside is not of there business outside ...
