Thumb-sucking Toddlers

ako dile man mo thumb-suck... i often badlongon xa if mag thumb-suck, karun wala man...
like if ibutang sa baba, kuhaon dayun, or if mo action og butang og something sa baba, kuhaon dayun,
something like that... karun ala na man... mag 3 na ako bby this august... pohon!

My eldest stop thumbsucking around 7yrs old. I usually make an agreement with my kids. Every morning ako siya pa atubangon sa mirror then I told her to look at her teeth. Then I showed her some photos that are not really nice when you don't stop the habit. You know what she did? She told me to put a band aid every night so she can control not to thumb suck plus she wants to be hug before she slept. So all of us make an effort to hug her before she sleeps and now everythngs well.

ako baby na 4 months kay mag hand suck...hehehhe like ang whole hand ang i action ug suck..pero karon, kabalo na siya ug thumb suck... hehehhehe... amo badlongon usahay kay mao man ingon sa iya pedia... pero maluoy man mi usahay woi... especially if mag innocent look na dayon... amo nalang pasagdan kay baby pa man sad...as long as limpyo lang iya hand...

my toddler, thanks God, does not thumbsuck... sis, try other activities with your daughter/son by keeping him busy (coloring books, building blocks, origami so that the child will forget thumsucking. You will not only bond with your child but they will gain confidence when they learn new stuff... they thumbsuck because of boredom...hope this may help you.

btaw its true gud i agree gud sa mga advice ninyo dili man gud maayo imo kasab-an kay mka affect nuon na nila....i think its better gud nah sultian lang and let him/her realize on their own na dili na pwede kay total mkg kabuot ra btaw na.....ako sad baby thumbsuck pud cya duhaon pa niya ka tudlo ill take ur advices mga sis thanks au....

Heck my sister thumbsucked until 15! Lisod gyud au pugngan, naa na gani na'y buot ha di pa gyud mastorya-an samot na ug bata! So I would say normal ra na. Ayaw lang kaayo buhati ug di maayo kay mag rigor nya.
