bought this phone last March 2010, never used it alot kay makalagot ang double tapping sa screen.
just right now, ako gisulod ako sim and tried to use again, i can received calls and makatawag pud ko, i also can receive messages ang ako problema kay di ko kasend ug message... is there anyone of you here have this kind of problem?

anyway to answer some questions about the build quality:
its all plastic and feels plasticky...
sometimes it cramps too
mine is the 32gig version and comes with music for 1 year
and the headset is quite nice.

specs wise x6 is far more better...
capacitive touch screen
32gig internal memory
1 year comes with music subsciption
3.2 inches screen
5mp camera

but for me, mas nice ug porma ang 5800
alot of accessories given ang 5800 like pouch, and katong sa guitara while sa x6 if dili 32gig imo paliton, the headset given is ordinary ra and walay pouch.

Gi activate ug roaming imong SIM ? if so you need P25 min balance para maka send.

I came from the 5800, used it for about 9 months.. I really cant recommend it to anyone because of issues after issues with the firmware upgrade.. pero ang V50 FW dli na jud ana ka grabi ang problema.

If your spending that much for the X6, palit nalang ug Samsung Wave coz everything on the wave is better except for the loud speaker kay dili ana ka loud jud.

i already solved the problem... i just updated the software.. hehehe nagpaila nga wa na magamit kay wa nay update update sa software...

if you really want to spend that much bro.. try samsung galaxy s...
better than xperia x10
im not a fan of samsung and sony but samsung galaxy is really really good...
super amoled and capacitive touch screen nindot gyud kaayo... ang sa sony murag taphaw para nako.

try samsung galaxy s bro with android froyo... u can never go wrong with it

nokia x6 is also a very nice phone of your a nokia fanboy

@T1code and earlz: thanks for your guys opinions. now im having 2nd thoughts on the 5800. the samsungs are too expensive for me though. the x6 has better specs but i like the looks of the 5800mbetter. i really was just looking for a replacement for my aging w810i something that could handle music well and maybe even a little video. i wont be fussing too much with internet or other frills. would the phone suit me still? and if its not too much trouble, what issues are u speaking of? are these common to all 5800's? thanks

The X6 is like 16k, the Galaxy S is 33k morag layo ra kaayo sa "spend that much"

I have the samsung wave and im also getting the galaxy S, for the price I love the wave even though gamay ra iyang apps ( its not even 1 month out on the Ph market ) but the apps out right now are pretty decent and useful.

Value wise the Wave is better than the X6 by a long mile even though apps arnt that many yet, on nokias end theres less than a dozen useful applications anyway over the thousands you can download.

At the end of the day its his preference though, sayang lang if mag X6 the features and specifications on other phones are better for the price.
