In terms of pure performance, the GTX260 & HD4870 wins over the HD5770. Also, the HD5770 is also slightly more expensive than the GTX260 right now, however it also consumes less power.

If I have to buy right now, I'd choose the GTX260. But a wise decision would be to wait until next year when the HD5770's price drops to that below of the current GTX260 prices.

gtx 260 bro ... don't worry about dx11 im sure it is just a driver issue, later on they'll find ways to have these cards run on dx11, and btw, there's not much difference to dx10 in fact dx10 run smoothly for games compared to the other one...im planning also to upgrade to 260, just waiting for price to go down.

DX 11 is hardware implemented and your GTX 260 cannot have DX 11 by just simple driver update.

currently tied ang hd5770 & gtx260 sa tom's best card for the money dec 2009 (kick-out ang hd4870).

my opinion? if you have to buy right now, buy whichever's cheaper. basically it all boils down to this: hd5770 consumes less power and has dx11 support, while ang gtx260 performs slightly faster and has physx support
