Absolutely!

Bag-o ra ko nagbasa2x ug article about gorillas and other mammals.

    - Men have the urge to be polygamous in order to propagate their genes. The overall goal of a species is to survive and multiply.
    - Men react violently if another man attempts to mate with their woman because it increases the risk that they will take care of other men's children. Taking care of children is costly (i.e., they must now at least triple the food that they must hunt).

Nalibog pa ko ani nga part kay daghan conflicting articles about gorillas/wolf/whatever:
    - Women sometimes mate with a man that has good genes, but will choose to stay with a lesser man because he can provide food.
    - Women have the biological urge to be monogamous because if they are seen as polygamous, men with good genes will not mate with them because it increases the risk that they will have to feed other men's children. Basin mao ni rason ngano naay double standards atong society? Dunno...

After all, humans are still animals.
