D80 or 450D?

450 na... d80 is like 3 years old na model comparing to 450D which is about a year kapin na..

i just called my friend, he said it was bought by his brother in the US, he will bring the receipt, his brother used it 4 months in the US and ang unit is 2 months pa niya, the camera was purchase last June. Wala jud niya na gamit ang unit.

Brand new sa 450D kay 37,000
He is selling his D80 32,000

For me budget ra jud nako is 35k.. or maybe +2k or -2k..

Aw... 2 months + 4 diay! hehehe... ang tawag dyan sa Consumer Act of the Philippines: Misrepresentation of facts... don't buy it... but if you insist, make sure that the shutter count is less than 6K; otherwise, forget it... besides, at 32K for a second hand D80... you must ne kidding me?!!!

There are a lot D80 at Pinoy Photography and at the buy and sell section of ISTORYA that is way below that price...

Tip lang... be weary of buying items that was they claim to come from the US or any other country for that matter... based on my experience (may not necessarily true all that time); "US" or "outside the country" may mean repair center... or is actually one way of eliminating traceability of the origin of the item (just a word of caution).

But there are legit items there in the market... you just have to scrutinize the item and the circumstances why it is being sold before deciding... after all you are shelling out hard earned money...

Lastly, with that budget... i suggest you buy a brand new D60 or the 450D...

Again, as a disclaimer, the statements i made are borne out of experience... i am just sharing...

im a nikon user but i would suggest you go for d90 if kaya sa budget.. a friend told me that he sold his d80 becuase ngitngit daw like the sensor of d700.. don't know about it though... after all its a matter of preference.
