It's easy to report how some bishop said this or that, without verifying whether the event really happened or if the alleged messenger was even actually from Malacanang. Madali lang gumawa ng intriga, especially those bishops who support the impeachment. They clearly have the motive to make those allegations of bribery, even if it's at the expense of their brother-priests.

They will find ways to get back with these priests who have not supported their impeachment complaint.

The CBCP just released that this is a year of moral concern. In fact, they have just criticized those who are acting beyond the bounds of the common good of the people. It would defeat the purpose of finding common good if they would just accept bribes, as what the opposition says.

But then again, they didn't expect such refusal to support. They have been very much certain the CBCP would go their way. They might have been so shocked, to the point that they didn't know what to retaliate about which could be believable, to say the least.

That is a verified report in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Are we insinuating that we cannot trust PDI anymore? Or that all it peddled are gossips. They cant just accept that malacanang is bribing the bishops.

Anyway, this is a blatant violation of the doctrine of separation of Church and State. Whats the business of a Malacanang "delivery boy" in the CBCP meeting? This is a shameful display of Mrs Arroyo to influence the decision of the CBCP as a spiritual institution.

Generous? Unusually, Malacanang will always become overly generous at the time the CBCP is having their plenary. This is seasonal generosity.

Dapat lagi na-a separation sa Church and State.....pero kung ang Church midawat sa kwarta sa State, something is wrong sa values sa mga Church officials, labi na ani nga issue sa impeachment.....if nausab ang stand sa CBCP tungod sa kwarta..na mawagtang samot akong pagsalig sa Church....nganu man si GMA ang atong questionun ani nga rumors..dapat ang Church officials kay sila ang midawat sa donations....if ako ang head sa CBCP....mubalibad gyud ko sa donation from GMA
