What about Kamagong Fretboards sir? A.K.A. Philippine Ebony. Lami tan awon ang Ebony so would Kamagong make a good fretboard?

kamagong would be a very good choice for the fingerboard. my 12-string Harana acoustic has a kamagong fingerboard that I treated with lemon oil aron smooth kaayo ang chord transfer. ang kamagong lang nato is not really black, just dark brown with streaks.

yup, Edz would be my first choice for repairs. mahal lang lage gamay pero sulit man hinuon. if you are planning to do the finishing yourself, then go to the "surplus guitars thread" and view the progress sa Gibson SG project guitar ni benweasel for tips.

if a guitar neck breaks, then replacing the whole neck is the best solution. dili ko mo recommend og sumpay kay problema lang gihapon na later.

Cebu Guitars quoted 3.5T for an apitong neck with truss-rod and narra fingerboard (gusto man ko reddish ang effect). included na ang headstock and pre-drilled holes for the machine heads. walay Gibson logo. apil installation, wala'y labot ang automotive finish.....

Nope, wala inlay...the 3.5T is for an apitong neck and head, narra fingerboard, frets and installation to body.
