    @alhgonz

    2006 pa ni cya nga thread. I doubt nga kung matubag ka nila. And I think maong nag-inenglis ni sila diri kay dili ra man pud bisaya ang possible mubasa ani nga thread... Naay mga tagalog, ug uban pa...
    para pud maka-sabot ang mga dili bisaya... so, kung naka-iskwela man jud ka, i guess, maka-sabot ra man pud ka, d ba wala btaw balaod diri sa istorya nga dili pwede mag-ingles sa posts... and so far, masabtan pa man pud ilang English. dili pa man sad jud sila grabe ka-technical...

    just my point of view...

    this is a 2006 thread but it is still very relevant because these people are still looking for "clients" and most of these clients have lost a lot of money.

    ey there TS.....

    u did titled this "a venture on being an entrepreneur".... ey keep up the enthusiasm!!!

    i hope that as hype as u starting this thread, you will also be hype in sharing your learning to us, be it victories or defeats in your quest to becoming an entrepreneur..

    how i see it, TS had this for the purpose of sharing his path towards being an entrepreneur.. this may end up a sad fate or a very rewarding endeavor, but what is very notable is this guyz guts in exposing himself to positive or negative feedback...(ey doesnt make me a fan of mega trends, in fact i am more wary of it now, thanks to this thread)

    ey TS..keep up the goodwork..so whats the next chapter of this "story"

    Ive worked with this company pud before and guess what this is the 5th time they changed name. I was a fresh graduate katong naka work ko dha..and ang office sa metrobank plaza pato 11th floor to be exact. among dept head kay si danny (kalimot ko sa iyang last name). Gi train me for a week, but it wasnt enough. We were told na mo dako among sweldo, from 6k allowance to 10k plus pa commission plus pa every time mo trade ka naa pajuy $20 if makakuha me ug client. Bec. of the offer gi present dayun nako sa among paryente na kwartahan ug friends na naay money. I closed 3 accounts to make it short. Naka buot buot ko what time ko mo duty...and most of all daghan kaayo ko ug kwarta. Since dili pa ko kahibalo unsaon..si danny ang nidala sa account kay mao may sulti sa taga didto...In less than a month a 3 ka account na sira. Imagine Mura kog maboang kay akong best friend suko kaayo nako...akong tita suko..tanan tao akong naapil perte ka suko... That time pud na na tikoy ang account akong nasulod...naa puy chinese businessman ni adto gadala ug pusil kay iya daw patyun si danny kay $20,000 nahurot lang in 3 weeks. Grabe akong trauma ug kasakit those times...I lost a friend...mga parente na suko kaayo nako. I lost credibility bec lang anang mga tawhana. I tried to contact mr. lee singaporean na cya...iya na e decline ang calls...... Grabe to na panghitabo! It took me pila ka year para maka get over... maayo nalang gani na akong best friend...gipasaylo ko..then okey nami karun! I can say ILAD ang MEGATREND or whatever na ang name!

    Being an entrepreneur is very challenging. Ive been an employee for 4 years (callcenters, forex trading, bank, hospital, clinics etc) before I decided to go into business. Although i was doing buy and sell back my elementary, highschool and college days. Every day is a learning experience..u get to encounter a lot of losses along with gains. When every employee is happy during 15th and the 30th...you are feeling the opposite hehehehe. Bills amass...Headaches when magpabadlong mga empleyado... But the good thing about it is...you gain alot of friends and enemies as well heheheh kanang dili maayo mamayad. and your mind will be exercised...you can hone your skills thru the failures that comes along the way. .

    HI Katezu! you mentioned that you were once an employee of different companies and eventually you decided to start your own business. can you please share your ideas as to what would be the best line of business to start. currently, i am working for a distribution company but i am thinking of resigning by the end of the year and start my own business.

    Hi there baktinbiik! there are lots of businesses you might want to consider but that would be dependent on various factors - your passion, your experiences (you can use ur experience as a sales agent), your talents/skills, your capital, your contacts etc. I suggest you put into writings your answers, this could help you in your decision. Read also business magazines like the local entrepreneur magazine, go through the business section of istorya and other forums. Read on any business ideas available, in short be resourceful. Goodluck!
