sa ako experience sir, ang cause jd ana ky kana internal parasites...kng permi stress gane sila many pathogens take hold and begin to infect the fish....especialy young discus, grabeh kau na cla mo kaun,pataka lng pd ug kaun bsan asa.. wa nay control mo eat,mao to ako ni kirig lng ug kalit..haha.........!!! kita mn sd gd ko ug worms(tapeworms) sa ako tank...bt im not saying ang dagko di pd ma igo ug internal parasite, yes dey do, mao na i use "AZOO anti-endoparasites" pra deworm evry month, clean water pd..twice a week ko mg water change(30%) which is also very important.

i tried pd in a planted tank, pro patay ghpn ky somtimes mn gd sobra ra ang Co2...dn bare bottom tank jd pra dali ma soyup ang mga waste..


===> before ka mo add discus sa tank use "AZOO magic disease" ....pang lifetime protection mn gd ni...i also use black water bt evry water change lng..ingn pd c Alain na gamit ug any green tea pra dark gamay ang water..mas di sila ma hadlok..1 tea bag per 15 gallon of water. so far good condition kau ako discus...


==>i use biological filter(sponge) the most important type of aquarium filtration. to reduce ammonia..(e update pa nku ako tank soon w/ bio. filter)

==> mga 1 month kapin na guro na, cla nku....

thats great. are there any substitutes for those AZOO stuff? like all natural? hehehe

anyway, yeah, it is really not advisable for juvy discus for planted, young discus needs warmer temp and plants needs cooler temp. thank you for providing me with these helpful tips. for me, IMO, filtration is very essential in a discus tank, i agree with you.

wa pko ka ngita lain sub ana..haha//for me ok ang azoo magic...but for deworming u can use paraquantal tablet for dogs gane sir....

wow!!!nindota sa imu discus sir!!!!!hehehee.... na pd ko ing.ana na klase sauna bout 3 to 4 inches...wa na survive sa planted...hehe...gi unsa nmu pag maintain ana sa planted??pila na sd ka month ug year na nasa imoha??

Wla may special care aknog gihatag bai gawas sa wc 30% weekly, before nag gamit ko ug blackwater sa mr. aqua nya murag mahal raman kaayo kay every wc gyud ka mo butang. Greentea na akon gamit ron. Mga 2" pani sila nako, karon kay ning dako2x na mga 4" ~ 5". Lately lang bai ako na sila gi transfer sa semi planted bottom tank kay nag sugod naman sila ug pairing basin mangitlog kaonon lang sa uban fish. Ako unya ni sila picturan. Ikaw diay naka kuha ana sa pipers , nice. Share nya sa imong experience nila.

thank you pud. always welcome. dali rana mu daghan, cut and replant lang. hope maka attend pud ka sa among mga gatherings someday.
Murag kita ko ug conefeeder sa Pipers, but i'm not sure though. well, mas nindot ang hand feeding para naa jud bonding sa imung fish. nindota jud anang discus oi.
