JavaFX or Adobe AIR?

I prefer Adobe AIR.
But before dwelling into Adobe AIR, you must learn first Adobe Flex (now FlashBuilder).
Actually, AIR applications are just "windowed" version of a Flex Application. When you learn flex you are are actually, at the same time, learn Adobe AIR. The same code in flex can be converted into an air application.

What's a "windowed" application? Flex applications are browser based applications that can run in all kinds of browser (IE, FireFox, Safari etc. ) as long as that browser supports Flash player. Adobe AIR can convert the same application and install it as a desktop application on your machine. The only difference between the two is Adobe AIR applications can do File manipulations.

I would suggest this link to learn more about Adobe Flex.
It is a very exciting technology. You can build very interactive flash-based applications quickly without having to worry about time frames, tween etc.

For the record, Java built the very first RIA = the Applet.
But they stopped improving it. As a result, Java is behind the RIA race where Adobe is No.1
Too late for JavaFX you have to catch first Silverlight.

im making a java fx app. It has some good features but akong reklamo kay dili pa mature enough ang language. The IDE's just primitive for javafx so it's kind of kapuy figuring out what went wrong.
