by phased out i meant as the top socket..i mean if you are building a new rig, why would you buy an AM2 if there is an Am3 available?

AM2 hasnt hit the Ph market yet and your now claiming that AM3 is avable... hmmm.

If im building a new rig id go get conroe, better price to performance ratio. and im also on a s939 and i dont intend get AM2 anytime soon yet.

Never heard about that since AM2 production is quite slow, in not sure if they even placed it on a stand still. if you can find that link the better.

gi claim ba nako nga naa nay AM3... KARON that was supposed to be pag naa na AM3, why would anyone buy Am2..unsa ba?

Last time i checked Davao doesnt represent the Ph. anyway im not worried about AM2 or AM3 since upon knowing they both sit on the same socket, it could possibly be that DDR3 will still use the same pin out as DDR2 thats why its forward compatible or AM3 processors could utilize both DDR2 and DDR3. Why would anyone buy AM2? simply because they want the latest stuff and not accounting the performance into it.

but yes, im not thinking about am2 just yet, if id i upgrade soon, i will go conroe..unless am3 comes up with something really good
