Death Cab for Cutie? Bon Iver? Grizzly Bear? I love them. But I think I love them better when they have their own niche following. Sure being on this OST gives them more exposure but I'm worried about this new batch of followers they're sure gonna get. I do think the people in charge for the movie are over compensating by having these bands in. They're downplaying the obvious teeny booper aspects of it by catering to the hipster crowd.

Before you all comment about the soundtrack... make sure you all know why they chose that certain song... on what scene/application it's being used. YES - you guys might have an opinion on which band is cool and which isn't - but if you play a track that's not appropriate for the scene (regardless of how cool the artist may be - in your opinion) , it will ruin the whole movie.
