THE organizers of the Cebu City Marathon have teamed up with the Cebu City government to address one of the most pressing concerns in road races--the runners’ safety.
Councilor Sylvan “Jack” Jakosalem announced during yesterday’s press conference that the Cebu City Government will do their part to make the Jan. 10, 2010 marathon a runner-friendly event.
“We had a series of meetings with the Citom Board and the organizers to tackle the road safety of the runners. And we agreed on one thing to keep the participants safe, we will be closing half of the road from 4 to 9:30 a.m., while the entire SRP roads will be closed from midnight until 9:30 a.m.,” Jakosalem said.

I will really try to run for the 21k Half marathon..praktis tag taman ani..hehe..10K RA rba jd 2 last nako dagan..waaaaa..i will really do my best to this one..=D..good luck to all the runners..

Joining this event to follow up the Red Cross Fun Run. I had fun, but sayang kay gihubak ko tungod sa aso sa mga auto. Hopefully the organizers will bar vehicles from the route come race day.

nakasuway nakog 21k 2 times nah....
di pako ready sa full marathon....
kuyawan kog maunsa nya ta......hahahaha layo kaayo nah
daghan kog kauban sa office mangapil ani.....
nabyaan nako nila..wa nakoy praktis..kafaet.......
