Very dire prospect indeed.
Well, we can always hope and be optimistic about things. We can still work it out if we work together to make things better.

@ RODSKY ...
I am more CONCERNED on the issues of GLOBAL WARMING than PHILIPPINES out PLACE 100 years later .
Indeed you are right in the sense of giving the benefit of the doubt but as a doer , these implications are signs of the very people who will bring down Philippines instead of pulling it out of the haystack and stand still and proud .

why don't we act on the problems now and not just worry about it?

We can't solve the problem because it's a disease already. Worst than cancer...It's in the blood. Even if we will eliminate everyone and plant a new one....I don't agree with others who are hopeful that there's still hope...Ayaw nyo lang ma_accept na wala talaga...In all aspects and angles of professions, nandun lahat na kawalang-hiyaan. Name it. You have it........

WhAT i WANT with the country is to be a state muna, under the regime of a different country na we can enjoy others standard of living para naman maiba for a moment. Kasi ang Pinas ngayon, there's no hope you can enjoy and hope your family to be put in a well off situation.

OT @ JOREMZ .... if you want to post what you feel and want , do it one time and dont flood the thread . This serves a warning to you .

Third solution on this guy's editorial is a little random. The illegalization of household help isn't the solution, since it isn't even the cause of this country's problems, rather it's the effect of a crappy education system. The Brits like their nannies and sitters (albeit paid at a higher rate of course) and yet their doing pretty ok, if I do say so myself. What the country needs is a major fix on the education system. You fix education, you fix unemployment. You fix unemployment and create better paying jobs, then you have a good productivity rate, thus eliminating the problem of underpaid helpers/maids.
bogo lang ang author sa article.......... that's all............
