Hmmm...the reason I'm saying it's rather odd, my friend, that a college degree is valuable in this respect is because the people (clients) are Americans, of which 78% or so are NOT graduates. 80% of people there don't go to college. An even higher statistic than that, can't read, write, spell or didn't finish high school.

you're saying it with pride as if you're actually working in the "Field" that you graduated from. Please, no one is better than the other. Sa skills and experience ra gihapon na dag.on. But I think it's just a mere facade on the call center's part para "humot" sila tan.awon sa mga clients.

This issue only applies in United States but not here in the Philippines. Mao nay nakapait. You must finish your college degree in order to get hire easily here.

True they dont have a college degree but there are skill trades institutions down here that would train a high school grad to work in the blue collar field. These trades are introduced to them while they are still in high school, like carpentry and automotives. Also some companies will provide apprenticeship or internship so that you can be qualified and get the right training for the job. And these are not college degrees, these are like certification.

I can sense hatred and anger... But thats how its works. You have to make sacrifices to move on. Life is not a luxury. And not all foreigners are like that. I was the only filipino at my class in my college days and at my work and everyone treats me ok. So far, noone has not disrespected me.
