kanus-a kaha ma-available diri ang pc power & cooling na line of psus? i've read in many reviews that they're top-of-the-line when it comes to psus (their latest model is an 800-watt beast of a psu)...

personally, i've been an avid user of enermax and hec psus. my enermax eg-365vfa is over 5 years old now... and is still powering my wife's pc. i upgraded 2 yrs ago to a 475-watt power-op series from hec. can't wait to try out my new enermax eg-651v...

if you're into things that deliver the goods and will last, opt for branded psus. they cost a premium compared to generics but it will save you a lot in the long run.

i leave my pc on for 2 - 3 days at a time, esp on weekends when i use it for gaming, dvd encoding/decoding, converting video/audio files to different formats, etc. my hec and enermax are still chugging along...

@jasperchiong: get a psu that is at least 475-watts so you have a little slack for future upgrades. enermax, hec, thermaltake, and antec brands are available locally

mga bro... my first generic PSU died 300w generic, details: try nako ug short ang green sa usa ka negative wire sa ATx pins... motuyok lang ug about .5 secs ang fan den turn off... i opened the psu. seems like nothings burned.. (ANYWAY: this psu run a lot of times with my current setup almost 2 weeks.)

so for another try. i get this new 300w GENERIC psu agen....

i run it the morning and went fine. i ran this afternoon niya taod2x pawng na sad ug kalit... shorting agen the wire for PSU on. same thing .5 secs motuyok ang fan.

i went to psu calculator and say i need at least 220watts of power for my current setup.

any idea herE?... dili ni cya bcoz of electric fluctuations? or dili lang jud niya kaya supplayan akong system thats why ni-give up ni? or somethings shorting inside my case?.....

    SETUP
AMD Athlon XP 2400+ (stock speed)
    ThermalTake TR-2 M2 (full speed)
    ASUS A7V8X-MX + floppy drive
    2 * 512MB ddr333
PowerColor ATI Radeon 9800XT 256 MB
